4.30.2006-Sunday We Poked Your Eye Out! -Kiki
Yet another great week for the Sentinels crew. BWL came up off some awesome loot for us. Finally dropping every Pallies wet dream, Herald of Woe! Big grats to Razorblade on that steal. Nef treated our warriors well dropping 2 more breastplates to round out another completed set.
The real story though comes from last nights goodies! Once again Sentinels owned Rag before his sons. This time slamming him so hard he finally turned over his prized possession to a well deserving warrior. Of course no one could go to sleep on this note, there was a hammer to be made! What prolly could have taken weeks to farm up, the Sentinels pulled together and gathered enough resources for Surtur to craft the Sulfuron Hammer. HUGE congrats to our boy Herem and his bad ass Sulfuras Hand of Ragnaros!!!

This past week has been a wild ride! After having a rough month with server crashes and login crap outs, Sentinels bounced back with fire. Here are a few of the highlights from this week.
With Nipp up to the Nefarius's Corruption part of the Nozdormu quest line, it was now our turn to aid in the zerg rush on his behalf. As the lag crept up behind us we blew through BWL like a tornado one shotting everything that moved. The quest at hand allowed us five hours to kill Nef., we managed to pull it off in 2 1/2 . This wasnt enough though, for the servers seemed to finally stabilise and the crew was out for blood!
The next night moving on to AQ40 was nothing shy of amazing. Again we showed our muscle as we plowed through. One shoting Skeram and the Royal family had us all pumped up. Alas our night came to an end with Battlegaurd Satura and her fairy sidekicks. Also known as the "Move Bitch Get Out The Way" zerg fest.
Oh but there's more...
Our first attempt at killing Rag before his sons started out with a joke. "If we kill him tonight before sons, no more UBRS buff" With laughter in the air his death came with great cheer! To our amazement, Rag dropped like a drunken prom date before he could ever call apon his sons. Many laughed and declared they to could have done it, yet never tried. On this night Sentinels proved their thunder would never be left unheard. So the point behind all this back storey? Last night Sentinels faced Rag on our routine clean up of Molten Core. A challenge was placed for yet another kill before sons. This time with no UBRS buff. Could we do it again? Could we prove that "luck" was not our style? Your dam right the big firelord went down before his sons were called! Congrats Sentinels on your repeat of greatness!
so what is our secrete to this accomplishment?
Thats right! SEAL FORM FTW!
Great job this week Sentinels. Thank you for bringing your A game!

Finally Bwl is no longer a whisper! After several weeks of not being able to raid BWL due to server issues or other extraneous circumstances, the Sentinels crew stepped back up to the plate! We made our mark as we cleared through the first 4 bosses, questions of impossibility creeping up in the back of everyone’s minds as we pushed on. We proved our strength in cleaver strategy rather then brute force. Even with the short numbers and the shitty lag, our healers could never be thanked enough for hanging in there till the end.
Oh oh oh before I forget, the rogues have decided to take over the tanking role on the Vael fight. R.I.P. Vale to the hands of 34 Sentinels and friends that night! What a freaking rush!
So what have we been doing all this time you ask? Well AQ40 was a thought that crossed our minds. Finally defeating Skeram was a big success for us. Having to over come some changing in play style was easier then we had thought. Bug races were to be had while we farmed up Brood of Nozdorm faction. Pushing Nipp to nutural was a task that words really can’t describe. FREAKIN FACTION WHORE! Oh and some of us ventured into the pvp world over the past weekends. Learning that there is a whole different side to this game, a very political side which takes great work to keep the status quo.
Till next time, PEACE
